St. Luke's Episcopal Church is a welcoming and inclusive Christian community. The lay leaders and the Bishop's Committee work closely with our Bishop, the Right Rev. Robert L. Fitzpatrick, and with the clergy for the Mission & Ministry of the Church.

Fr. Ray Woo was born in Hong Kong and baptized as an Anglican there. As a child, he lived in Singapore for a few years before moving to Hawaii in the early 1970’s. He graduated from Kalani High School here in Honolulu. After high school, he went to Santa Clara University for his undergraduate education. For graduate work, Fr. Woo studied at the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley, Fordham University, Columbia University (Summer Graduate Study), the Weston Jesuit School of Theology at Cambridge, Massachusetts (now Boston College’s Graduate School of Theology and Ministry), and Sewanee School of Theology at University of the South for Summer Anglican Studies. Fr. Woo was a Jesuit priest before he was received to be an Episcopal clergy by the Right Rev. Robert Fitzpatrick, the Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Hawaii. Besides being a priest at St. Luke’s, Fr. Woo teaches Scriptures and Church History at Waiolaihui'ia: the Diocesan Local Clergy Formation Program. He is very grateful for the opportunities to serve God and people in the Diocese of Hawaii. He is married to his wife, Vivien, since 2000. He says, "We love our Church Ohana, our family, and our friends!"
